How to Analyse a CAT Mock the Right Way
By Prachi Priya Jha 5 June 2026

The mock you do not analyse is wasted
A simple analysis routine
- Bucket every question: correct, wrong, skipped, and "right but unsure."
- For each wrong/skipped: concept gap, silly error, time issue, or bad selection?
- Tally the reasons - patterns appear fast.
- Re-attempt skipped doable questions untimed.
Track over time
Log percentile, section accuracy, and your top loophole each mock. Fix one loophole at a time.
Bottom line: spend twice as long reviewing as taking. Your next 5 percentile points are in your last five mocks.
